What is Chakaruna
Chakaruna Project is born from a life of listening: years between the clinic, the jungle, the word, the symbol, training, and ritual, around a question that never grows old — how a human being truly heals.
We don't want another spiritual showcase or another service catalog. We want to give clear and transmissible form to a work that already exists: Saviaterra as a territory of medicine and human development, and the School of Therapists as a training channel.
No incense therapy. Nor mysticism dressed in clinical words.
It is somewhat more demanding: a path where personal history, the unconscious, the body, ritual, and openness to the sacred meet with a framework, discernment, and heart.
The three roots
Three paths that stop competing and start caring for each other
Psychoanalysis and the Word
Listen, transference, trauma memory, grief, and shadow. Prevent the experience from becoming an inner spectacle or the wound from turning into a sacred identity.
Perennial tradition
Symbol, contemplation, silence, and vertical sense. Remember that not all pain is pathology, nor is every vision the truth.
Amazonian vegetalism
Ritual, master plants, chant, dieta, territory, and community. It invites receiving medicine as a relationship, not as intensive consumption.
Medicine opens, the word integrates, tradition guides; and daily life verifies if anything really changed.

Andrés Yáñez
Director of Chakaruna Project. Founder of Saviaterra Center and the Institute of Psychotherapy and Spirituality.
Author and trainer, for years he has articulated psychoanalytic work with the perennial tradition and Amazonian vegetalism. His work upholds the criterion that organizes this house: clinical depth, setting, and respect for the sacred.
